The Econologis Program is back!

The Econologis Program is available from October to March in most regions of Québec. It provides low-income families with real, free help to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of their homes, regardless of whether they are tenants or owners.

Eligible families receive a visit from an advisor, are given practical tips on heating, hot water, household appliances and lighting, and can take advantage of a range of measures that includes window caulking, installation of sills and weather-stripping on doors, insulation of electrical outlets on enclosing walls, installation of reduced-flow shower heads, adjustment of hot water heater temperatures, and the addition of aerator fittings to tap heads.

In some cases, after completion of minor work, electronic thermostats may also be professionally installed.

Four reasons to participate

  • At-home consultation with an advisor
  • Free energy-efficient measures
  • Improved comfort
  • Less annoying draughts

This year, the Department can count on the collaboration of five community and non-profit organizations located in fifteen regions of Québec to help deliver the Program.

For further details on the Program and to find contact details for the delivery organization in your region, please contact us by telephone at 1 866 266-0008 or visit the website
