Rénoclimat

Rénoclimat is an energy efficiency renovation program for people who own a single-family, semi-detached, row house (town house), a duplex, a triplex or a multiple-unit residential building. The program includes an energy audit conducted both before and after the renovation. An energy efficiency rating of your home is done on-site by an energy efficiency advisor. The program also offers access to financial assistance.

Sustainable Urban Development

To encourage the development of ecodistricts, Hydro-Québec offers financial assistance to developers and contractors or municipalities that carry out electricity-saving sustainable urban development projects.

Technoclimat (in French only)

The purpose of this program is to finance projects that demonstrate new technologies and innovative procedures that show strong potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Québec.

Technology and Business Demonstration

Get Hydro-Québec’s support to test the technical and commercial viability of innovative energy-saving or power-demand optimization measures. Hydro-Québec provides financial support to foster the emergence of innovative solutions. Applications must involve at least one Hydro-Québec customer.
Hydro-Québec Electricity

Chauffez vert

Financial assistance is available for the replacement of fossil-fueled systems with systems that use electricity or other renewable sources of energy. Eligible systems include central heating systems and water heaters that use oil or any other fossil fuel with the exception of natural gas. The system must be the home’s principal heating source before the beginning of replacement work.

Chauffez vert CII (in French only)

Le programme Chauffez vert - Commerces, institutions et industries (Chauffez vert CII) offre aux entreprises une aide financière pour des projets de conversion de leurs systèmes de chauffage de l’espace et de l’eau, fonctionnant actuellement au mazout léger ou au propane. Les projets doivent mener à l’installation de systèmes alimentés à l’électricité ou par d’autres énergies renouvelables. Le programme Chauffez vert - CII soutient ainsi les entreprises dans leurs efforts pour réduire la consommation d’énergie et les émissions de gaz à effet de serre de leurs bâtiments.

ÉcoPerformance (in French only)

ÉcoPerformance vise à réduire les émissions de gaz à effet de serre et la consommation énergétique des entreprises par le financement de projets ou de mesures liés à la consommation et à la production d'énergie, de même qu'à l'amélioration des procédés. ÉcoPerformance est offert aux entreprises qui consomment des combustibles fossiles ou qui utilisent des procédés générant des émissions de GES. Il s'adresse autant aux petits qu'aux grands consommateurs d'énergie.

Programme de biomasse forestière résiduelle (in French only)

Le Programme a pour but de réduire les émissions de gaz à effet de serre et la consommation des combustibles fossiles par le financement de projets de conversion énergétique à la biomasse forestière résiduelle. Le programme entend soutenir la filière naissante de la valorisation énergétique de la biomasse forestière résiduelle en encourageant le développement d’infrastructures et de réseaux de distribution au Québec.

Condensing water heater

This program offers a grant to encourage the acquisition and installation of a condensing water heater with an efficiency rating of at least 90%. Eligible water heaters are very efficient because they reuse part of the latent heat energy from combustion exhaust. They are able to quickly produce large amounts of hot water. The program is intended for at existing buildings as well as new constructions, and may be of interest to both current and new customers.

Combo system

This program offers financial assistance to encourage the purchase and installation of a combo system, which meets heating and hot water needs with a single appliance. The system is composed of a condensing tankless water heater, combined with a fan coil unit that heats the air. In addition to being very efficient, such a system saves on space. Eligible water heaters must have an energy rating of at least 90% in addition to being ENERGY STAR® qualified. The program is intended for existing buildings as well as new constructions, and may be of interest to both current and new Gaz Métro residential customers.
