Energy Evaluation

For an energy evaluation, a Rénoclimat energy advisor will visit your home and conduct an analysis to check all of its energy efficiency aspects.

The advisor determines the EnerGuide rating of your home by conducting a blower door test, he gives you advice on the work you’re planning and then sends you a detailed evaluation report.

Until May 1, 2024, the program offers free pre and post-retrofit energy evaluations, including subsequent evaluations. After that date, a fee of 150$ plus taxes will apply for subsequent energy evaluations and for the first pre-retrofit energy evaluation. The fee for the pre-retrofit energy evaluation will be reimbursed if you are eligible for financial assistance upon the completion of your project.
